About Us

History

SIMANDL as a family owned company was set up in 1995. In that time the quality of powdered coffee drinks in Czech Republic was very low and the market in East European region was full of low costs products supplied by multinational companies. Mr. Simandl, who is fond of quality coffee, has decided to go against market trends and started to produce coffee creamer and powdered coffee from quality and tasty raw materials under brand Samantha and later Darkoff.

Thanks to exceptional taste and reasonable price without marketing investments brands Samantha and Darkoff became popular between Czech customers. This helps Simandl to survive in strong competition of multinational brands.

Present

Simandl is the only Czech producer of powdered coffee drinks.

Since 2004, the company is producing all products in a new modern hall in Petrovice u Karvine.
